Evgeny Laskaev, Governor

Evgeny Laskaev is a Director, Operational Risk Advisory & Oversight, RBC Capital Markets LLC. Evgeny joined RBC in Toronto in 2015, taking up various roles in Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk, and relocated to the New York office in 2018. In his current role, Evgeny manages a team responsible for providing 2^nd Line of Defense oversight of the Operational Risk within US Corporate Functions. Evgeny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Goodman School of Business (Canada), and has completed CFA and FRM programs. Prior to relocating to New York, Evgeny worked closely with the RMA Toronto Chapter, focused on the emerging leaders demographic.
